What We do
Based in South Hertfordshire, Thrity Mama Garden Design creates gardens in Watford, Bushey, Rickmansworth, St Albans and Chenies in Hertfordshire, and the Chalfonts, Amersham, Chesham and surrounding villages in Buckinghamshire.
Our portfolio spans a diverse range of projects in a variety of styles and from intimate courtyard gardens and urban family spaces to expansive country estates.
Often collaborating with interior designers and architects, to ensure that the house and garden work as one harmonious space. Once the design is complete, we work with trusted Landscapers to bring our vision to life for our clients to enjoy for many years to come.
About Our Designer
Thrity, (its pronounced Treaty – in case you were wondering) is the creative mind behind Thrity Mama Garden Design and has been running her design studio for over 10 years after gaining qualifications in Garden and Planting Design, Hard andscaping and an RHS horticultural qualification.
Thrity says that she loves to work collaboratives with her clients, getting to know them, drawing inspiration from their tastes and aspirations, along with the architecture of the house and its’ setting, to an create elegant and practical garden design, unique to them, transforming their outdoor space into their dream garden, extending their living space out into the garden.
Thrity believes that having a garden that draws you outside also has benefits to our mental well-being by fostering a deeper connection with nature, providing a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of every day life.
Thrity has been pivotal in helping us to achieve our ‘dream’ garden from a very worn-out garden.
….and would recommend Thrity’s services without hesitation.
